SEG Events

Geophysics is an ever-advancing science. To keep up with the changes and anticipate what's coming in the future, geophysicists are constantly educating themselves through networking and attending courses, seminars, and meetings.

To help its members stay on top of the changing technology, SEG sponsors many meetings around the world, including meetings on five continents in 1998. In addition SEG works with other organizations and businesses around the world to create the most comprehensive listing of meetings as possible.

Annual Meeting...

Denver 2010SEG's most visible event each year is its International Exposition and Annual Meeting, a tradition lasting almost seven decades. The 82nd meeting is in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 4-9 November 2012.

The SEG Annual Meeting is the world's largest oil, energy and mineral exposition showcasing cutting-edge technology for use in exploration and associated industries. It is the premier venue for individuals to meet and discuss new geophysical technologies and their uses.
